Annual billing is the default. The monthly price shown is roughly 3x the annual-equivalent rate and exists as a reference point, not a discount trick.
Your records export at every tier, including Free. Your home's memory is never held hostage.
Document storage is counted across every home you own; photos don't count against it. The Documents page shows what you've used, and deleting a document frees the space.

Search documents are kept with the search and carry into your home at close. They do not count against your home’s document storage until then.
