Turning a photo into a room record

Room scanning turns one photo into a structured room record. The AI usually takes 10–20 seconds, and everything it suggests is editable before you save.

Step by Step

How to do it

  1. Open the Memory tab and navigate to the room you want to document.
  2. Tap "Scan Room" at the top of the room screen.
  3. Take a photo or upload one from your camera roll. Try to capture as much of the room as possible in a single shot.
  4. Wait a moment while Eave's AI analyzes the photo — this usually takes 10–20 seconds.
  5. Review the suggested fields: floor material, wall color, ceiling height, and any flagged issues.
  6. Edit anything that looks incorrect. Corrections help improve future scans.
  7. Tap Save. The room record is now updated with the scanned details.

Ready to try it? Eave is free for one home and runs in any browser — your first capture takes about five seconds.
